My art, my shit

Almost all of my drawings come out from my imaginery, but not for that are meaningless nor have a specific meaning intentionally. I am particularly interested in a type of art that consists on taking out what we have got inside, because in any drawing, consciuously or not, we reflect our thoughts, feelings, fears, desires etc. It's like visiting the artist's mind.

As you can see, my art is quite random, I may draw people, landscapes or even animals, but all of them in a strange coloured oniric world. The most important thing for me is enjoying the process, and because of that I take many hours in every single drawing. My intention is to develop a solid style of my own.

I think my art would be suitable for illustration when it comes to possible commissions, but I just make my drawings as they are, I don't conceive them as "illustrations", I don't intend to make them realistic or cartoonish, I just want to make them with my particular style and reflect what I have got inside.

Even though I enjoyed drawing as a kid and graduating in Fine Arts in Barcelona, for the moment I don't see myself becoming a professional artist, but who knows! maybe in the future, if I improve my skills, make myself a pretty nice portfolio and build up a community of followers I may find a way to make a living out of my art.
